[A story written in chalk on the front deck by Jeromy and Robey]
Once upon a time there was a friendly monster who was having a bad day. He was getting extremely upset with his parents because they grounded him from his 4-wheeler. He was very mad. So he decided to disobey his parents and sneak down to the barn to go for an afternoon ride.
But his parents found him riding. And they were so angry that the monster disobeyed them that they cut off his arms and fed them to the chickens. But he was still alive. Which was a good thing because next they made the unruly monster clean all of the dragon stalls with his tongue. He got even more mad.
So he decided to disobey his parents again by going to bed without brushing the fungus off his toes. Now his parents got mad for him disobeying them so they fed him to the foxes. But he was sill alive.
But remember he was a friendly monster so he got tired of making his parents angry with him and decided he would tell them how much he loved them instead. They still love him too but they said that next time he disobeyed them again they will feed him to the foxes again. He never disobeyed his parents again and the chickens were extra fat that year.
I used to just hate it when my parents would feed me to the foxes!
