These guys are fun. I've no idea who they are, but the picture was taken during the one year my grandfather was at DePaul.

DePauw University in Green Castle Indiana, not DePaul University in Chicago. The mix up occurs all the time. Dad was there on a diving scholarship. He was an excellent diver and just missed making the USA Olympic team. Like many other young men in the early 1940's he felt a need to join the armed forces when World War II broke out. College and diving was put on hold and never returned to.
