My paternal grandparent's wedding announcement. My "grammie" loved to tell stories about the day she was married. All the men had just returned from The War, and the occasion was as much a celebration of their return as it was of the union of two individuals. They were all so brave and young and every one of them was re-uniting with lovers and friends and their past selves. What a way to start a marriage.
